Developed in collaboration with Nini Andrade Silva, one of the world’s most renowned interior designers, born on the island of Madeira, this collection pays homage to one of the island’s iconic elements: the banana tree. Various features such as its wrinkled bark, large green leaves, delicate stem and the fruit itself are masterfully transformed into large plates and trays, small bowls and cups, centrepieces and other beautiful table accessories that recreate a tropical ambience.
The experience of using these dishes for dinner is special. The care and passion with which the ceramics are made lend personality to each piece of the Madeira collection.
The collection was honoured with the Iconic Awards 2020: Innovative Interior and the German Design Award 2020.
