Bialetti Dolce&Gabbana Moka Express | Sicilian cart
Bialetti and Dolce&Gabbana together to celebrate the Italian coffee ritual.
Born in 1933 from an idea of Alfonso Bialetti, Moka Express has always been an undisputed icon of Italian style.
Today, in the exclusive Dolce&Gabbana edition, Moka Express becomes a tribute to the artistic crafts, landscapes and unique colours of Sicily, recreating the decorative motifs of the Sicilian Carretto: an element of the island’s folklore which, with its traditions, has always been at the heart of Dolce&Gabbana’s aesthetic.
Moka Express Bialetti Dolce&Gabbana transforms the coffee ritual into a celebration of style and a doubly Italian pleasure.
How to prepare coffee :
1. Start by pouring room temperature water into the Moka boiler and fill it up to the level of the safety valve. Do not exceed this level otherwise the coffee may be too watery.
2. Now choose your favourite ground coffee blend. Take care! The blend must be specifically ground for the Moka, not too fine. Fill the Moka funnel generously, without pressing the coffee down.
3. A little secret? Set the fire to low and take your time; it is worth waiting a few extra minutes to enjoy a great coffee. When the coffee has fully risen in the binder, turn off the heat.
4. Now the crucial moment: the taste. To best savour all the aromas released, we recommend drinking the coffee as soon as it is poured into the cup.
